Dan Dinford Doyle

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Virginia; children, Rick (Caryn), Julie, Danny (Mary Beth); grandchildren, Kim (Todd), Sarah, Mary (Garrett), Charlie, Carter; great-grandchildren, Riley, Zach; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his loving parents, Fred C. and Edna R. Doyle; 2 brothers, Fred C. Doyle, Jr., Gene Doyle; 2 sisters, Grace Kay and Mary Moore.

Dan served in the United States Navy for 20 years as a Radarman. During his career, he served in the Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, as well as, the Cuban Crisis.

His favorite hobbies included being outdoors and spending time fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at the American Legion and Fleet Reserve Association.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 on August 29, 2020 with visitation with the family 1-hour before services at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida.
