Funeral services for Mr. William Kimble Petitt, age 86, will be conducted on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Jackson, TN with burial to follow at Ridgecrest Cemetery. Mr. Petitt passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Humboldt, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Petitt, and by his first wife, Myrtle Clary.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Michelle Dumont Petitt; his daughter, Caroline (Bobby) Bolton; his son, William (Darby) Petitt; his two step-sons, Vince (Helen) Clary and Tim (Ann) Clary; his sister, Marna Bradshaw; and seven grandchildren.
A visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
