He was a Navy Veteran, and a man of God. Terry had a great sense of humor and was a lot of fun to be around. He loved to travel and was a very good friend to all. He will be missed by his family and friends very much.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Lathie and Virda Jackson and his son, Jimmy Jackson.
Terry is survived by his daughter and son in law, Bob and Rhonda Durham; his grandchildren, Bo Durham and Nicole Durham; and his great grandchildren.
Terry is also survived by former daughter in law Keely Marshall who thought of him as a father and always will. Heather Mckissick who was a very good friend that helped him through the years showed him kindness, companionship and was by his side at the end of his life. Macy Smith who was a dear friend that helped so much. Terry could always count on him to bring popcorn and Coke when it was difficult for him to get around. He will be greatly missed by these friends and also including Bill Luther and James Mills.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. officiated by Bro. Bill Luther. Entombment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
