Paulette was born on September 9th 1956 in Birmingham, Alabama and adopted by the late Leo Anthony Arsement and Gladys Howell Arsement. She graduated from Huntsville High School in Huntsville, Alabama in 1974.
She was employed by Helping Hands of Tennessee and was a long time volunteer for many organizations including Madison County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Area Relief Ministries - Room in the Inn, the American Red Cross, and the Jackson Center for Independent Living (JCIL). She was a member of The New Jacksonians and Madison County Republican Women’s Party.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years George Tomlinson Tubb retired architect of H&M Construction Company; daughter Wendy Diane Harris Story, husband Jason Eric Story, with grandchildren Stephen Anthony Story, Eric Craig Story, Teddy (Keira Rosemarie) Story, and Tomlin D’mar Story of Medina, Tennessee; daughter Missy Lee Harris Bray, husband Jason Alexander Bray, with grandchildren Nathaniel Thomas Bray and Daisy Leigh Bray of Harvest, Alabama; sister Linda Sue Arsement Berry and nephews Michael Mason and Todd Mason of Alabama; brother John Glenn Arsement wife Jean Rackley Arsement nephews and nieces Jon, Andrea, Steve, and Brenda of Virginia; and sister Patricia Arsement Myers husband David Myers and nieces Kerrie Van Meter and Stephanie Myers of Ohio.
A memorial service for Paulette will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM at George A. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2812 N Highland Ave, Jackson, Tennessee 38305.
