She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Leon Harris of Hickman, KY, parents H.T. McDaniel and Agnes Virginia McDaniel of Woodland Mills, Tn.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Brent Harris wife Krista, grandson Max and granddaughter Kate, all of Hammond, LA
Mary grew up on a farm in Woodland Mills, TN and attended Woodland Mills High School where she was a star on the basketball team.
She then attended Gradwohl Medical School of Technology in St. Louis, MZ. She worked for 16 years at Jackson Madison County General Hospital as a lab technician. Mary was a consistent volunteer at her son’s school activities and never missed one of his basketball games.
Visitation will be at 11am with service to follow at 12pm at George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mary battled chronic pain for many years. In lieu of flowers pleaser make donations to The American Chronic Pain Association.
