Lula Adline Rogers

Funeral services for Lula Adline Rogers, age 92 of Jackson, will be held 2pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson, TN with Pastor Grant Gaines, Dr. Paul Clark, and Pastor David Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.

The daughter of the late Oscar and Sara Kelly Wallace, Lula was a dedicated wife, mother and friend. She was married to the late Paul Rogers for 63 years. She was also an active member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 72 years.

Other than her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons Jerry Paul Rogers, Rev. Kenneth Wayne Rogers, two sisters Iver Crews, Bessie Watkins, four brothers Evin Wallace, Odell Wallace, Arthur Wallace, Levon Wallace.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law Janice Hailey (Louie) of Jackson, two brothers Harce Wallace Lexington, TN, Floyd Wallace Parsons, TN, three granddaughters Tonya Rogers Nicks (Dr. Gregg Nicks) Bowling Green, KY, Tamara Rogers Primeaux (Mike) of Arlington, TN, Tina Rogers Herodes (Frank) of Franklin, TN and six great grandchildren Taylor and Hallie Nicks, Chris and Mica Primeaux, and Corbin and Kenadee Herodes.

Visitation with the Rogers Family will be on Wednesday November 2, 2011 from 4pm until 7pm at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel and resuming at the church from 1pm until 2pm on Thursday.
