Larry Street West

He was born November 30, 1949 in Jackson, Tennessee to the late William “Bill” West and Helen Street West of Jackson, Tennessee.

Larry graduated from Jackson High School in 1967 and attended Union University with a degree in Economics. He served in the National Guard for 8 years. Larry married his wife Elaine on February 23, 1977 and had two children Andy and Rachel. He was the owner of Bills Mini Mart for 25 years. He and Elaine later opened their business, The Bakers Rack, where after retirement he helped out in various ways.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine, son Andy and wife Jennifer West, and daughter Rachel and her husband Grant Turnbow. He is also survived by his four granddaughters Ella (13) and Sierra (8) West and Hadley (6) and Saylor (2) Turnbow.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at visitation to be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 9-11 a.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Memorial service to follow at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Jackson Humane Society.
