Judy Dodd McCoy

Judy was born on September 20, 1951 in Clarksdale, MS, the daughter of the late Rev. O.D. "Buck" Dodd and Sennie Lou Phillips Dodd. Judy had a sweet and loving soul. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and singing with her family group, The Dodd Family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step daughter, Melissa Chappell.

She is survived by her husband, Roy McCoy, Sr.; her daughter, Dujuana Naylor (Tommy); her step children, Tammie Robinson (Douglas), Tracey Patrick, Roy McCoy, Jr., and Jerry McCoy; her sisters, Kathy Tennyson (Frank), Vicki Spears (Gary), and Lori Byrum (Curtis); and a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, neices, and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Following the visitation, an escorted procession will go to the Mausoleum at Highland Memorial Gardens for a service at 3:00 pm with entombment following.
