James Allen Ross, Jr., age 64 of Jackson, passed away on July 9, 2024.
James was born on January 4, 1960 in Jackson to the late James Allen Ross, Sr. and Dora Jane Wicks Ross. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Annette Gurley Ross of Memphis. James graduated from Old Hickory Academy in Jackson and attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
James (JR/Jimmy, as so many knew him) had a passion for helping others. He was skilled in the interior designer trade and had a love for gardening and landscaping, appreciating and creating art and an amazing cook.
He is survived by his sister Lynn Ross of Franklin, TN.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. James will be buried privately at Ridgecrest Cemetery.
