Jaden was born on March 6, 2002 in Kirchheimbolanden, Germany, the son of Jessica Tunis.
The first 4 years of his life, Jaden grew up in Germany and traveled often with his mom. She found out early on, that he was very explorative by nature. Only turning her back for a second, he caught a blowfish in the Ocean in Japan with his bare hands at age 2. If he didn’t explore the world, you would find him digging in dirt and probably eating some of it too. He was always such a happy boy and made everyone smile around him.
After moving to the US at age 4, we were all surprised how quickly he learned English fluently and made friends with ease.
Jaden had this indescribable presence about him which was loved by so many. He was an avid video gamer and even broke a few world records. Some of his most beautiful passions involved music. Music was more than just the sound but the feeling it gave him. Jaden enjoyed creating his own songs on the piano and you would hear him bust out a song out of nowhere all the time.
He always enjoyed the finer things in life and loved cooking and fine dining - for a while he aspired to become a chef. Whoever tried his steak was in for a treat.
He had great love and passion for art, especially glass art. He was able to describe some of his most valuable pieces in details for hours. When something interested him, he spent an incredible amount of time learning all he could about it. If others had half the passion he had, the world would be much better off.
We had to keep reminding ourselves, that he was only 19. With just a conversation in passing, you knew right away he was cut from a different cloth. He viewed things in a way that challenged and inspired deeper thinking. He has touched so many with his selfless acts, trying to empower and encourage others, which are surfacing the more we speak to his friends. He will be deeply missed by so many. There was none other like him. #JDNforever
He was preceded in death by his Oma Babsy Tunis of Bad Kreuznach, Germany, his Opi Helmut Kiersch of Bad Kreuznach, Germany, Grandpa Ronnie Tunis of Cincinnati, OH, Omi Gisela Kiersch of Bad Kreuznach, Germany and Great Grandma Dorothy Tunis of Sedalia, MO.
He is survived by his mother, Jessica Tunis; sister, Lilly Britt of Jackson and is leaving behind family and friends all over the world. You know who you are.
