Jackie Dewayne Smith

Jackie was born on December 7,1965 in Bolivar, TN to Joe and Mamie Smith.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He loved his church family and served as an elder for 13 years.

Jackie is survived by his wife, of 30 years, Cynthia Smith and his daughters Ashley and Amber Smith; five grandchildren Khloe Butler, Alexis and Christian Downs, and Analise and Jacob Vazquez; brothers Billy (Thelma) Smith of TX, Bobby Smith of Huron, Eddie (Tina) Smith of Huron, Donald (Carol) Smith of KY, and several nieces and nephews that he cared for as his own.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Gladys Ruth Smith, Linda Smith, and Judy Hall; brother Harold Smith; granddaughter Nevaeh Downs.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at Gospel for the World Tabernacle, 993 Perry Switch Rd., Jackson, TN.

Funeral services for Jackie will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Gospel for the World Tabernacle with interment following in Big Springs Cemetery in Pinson.
