Mrs. Euna Oberlin Williams, 90 of Jackson passed away on Sunday January 5,2014. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Parkburg Baptist Church, with Bro. Danny Rachel officiating. Burial will follow in Parkburg Cemetery. Mrs. Williams was born in Beech Bluff on October 25, 1923 to the late Thomas Wesley Smith and Euna Cylistie McCormack. She grew up in rural Madison County and was educated in the Parkburg community. She was a member of the Parkburg Home Demonstration Club, served as a volunteer at Jackson Madison County General Hospital and was a lifelong member of Parkburg Baptist Church.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Richard Murray Williams, a sister, Pearlie Smith Butler, and a brother J.P. Smith
Euna is survived by a daughter, Doris Irene Williams Radcliffe (Stephen); Sons, Lawrence Eugene Williams (Marie), and Dr. Richard L. Williams M.D. (Madalyn). She also leaves five grandchildren, Joshua Stephen Radcliffe (Emily), Laura Elizabeth Radcliffe Griffin (Caleb), Mona Marie Williams Hayes (Brett), Richard Thomas Williams (Andrea), Lydia Beth Williams Murphy (Bart); nine great grandchildren, Hosea Radcliffe, Violet Radcliffe, Sydney Hayes, Sadie Hayes, Allie Williams, Ryan Williams, Sophie Williams, Riley Murphy, Amelia Murphy, and numerous nieces and nephews including Joyce Butler Brown, Chris Williams, and Roe Taylor Johnston.
