Elizabeth McKinnie Moore

Services for Elizabeth McKinnie Moore, age 94, will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel with Lonnie Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgecrest Cemetery. Pall bearers will be; Raymond Kee, Richard Swaim, Earl Martin, Bill Rawls, Bart Swift and Bill Alred.

Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Harry H. and Cleo Wheeler McKinnie. She received her education at Jackson City Schools and Union University. She worked 31 years at the Eye Clinic having retired in 1996. Mrs. Moore was a member of the West Jackson Baptist Church for over 70 years and served as a preschool teacher for over 50 years.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband, Terry H. Moore, to whom she was married for 74 years; her daughter, Beverly M. Bailey and husband Jim of Jackson, TN; 3 grandchildren, Dr. Terry V. Eagan of Los Angeles, CA, Lori Key and husband Joey and Todd Casey and wife Dawn of Memphis, TN; 2 great grandchildren, Craig Ronowski and Mackenzie Key.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine McKinnie White.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 24, 2010 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the North Chapel. Memorials may be directed to West Jackson Baptist Building Fund.
