They had a son, Robert B. Dew, Jr., who survives her. She later married her second husband, Nelson D. Rollins gaining two step daughters, Donna Short (Kenneth) and Teresa Ellington (James) who survive her. Within a few years, Elise gave birth to a daughter, Mary Beth Paschall, who survives her. Elise worked at Star Laundry, Park Cleaners, and the Jackson Housing Authority, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed fishing in Lick Creek with Nelson, who passed in 1995.
She cherished her grandchildren, two of her favorite people, Robert and Maribeth Paschall, and made wonderful memories with them. For many years, she played Rook with her sister and best friends, and enjoyed traveling. Elise was an outspoken and quick witted person who gave her opinion freely, even when it wasn’t sought. In her company, there was never a dull moment. When she made a friend, it was a friend for life.
Her presence on Earth will be greatly missed but welcomed in Heaven.
