E.C. Wilson

Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday August 7th, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Meridian Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in Trezevant, TN.

E.C. was born in Mckenzie, TN on December 27,1929 to the late Sid, and Verder Wilson. He owned and operated E.C. Wilson Oil Company for many years, and later retired from River Oil Company.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 19 years, Mrs. Carol Mae Wilson; 3 sons, Jerry Wilson (Dorothy), Charlie Wilson (Janelle), Robert "Red" Wilson (Jackie); step-children, Eddie, Bobby, and Donnie Kuykendall, and Alice Farrar and families; 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife of 43 years, Mrs. Lareda Wilson; 2 brothers, Clyde, and Cecil Wilson; 1 sister, Rosa Wilson, and a very special daughter-in-law, Peggy Wilson.

A visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, August 6th 2011 at the George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
