Doug Jackson

Doug was born on March 28, 1968 in Jackson, TN, the son of the late Franklin Roosevelt and Rachel Juanita Diggs Jackson. He was raised in Humboldt, TN and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1987 then earned his bachelor degree in 2006 from Lambuth University.  In 2010, Doug became an EMT until his health would not allow him to continue in his career.  He found a calling to continue to assist those with medical needs through his work at CoramCVS until his death.

Doug was a proud member of the Campbell Street Church of Christ and the Jackson Masonic Lodge #45.

He is survived by his wife, Sheri Lewis Jackson of Jackson; his siblings, Vickie Sewell of Little Rock, Jeannie (Leon) Tedford of Jackson, Joel (Tammy) Jackson of Ringgold, GA, Ross Jackson of Knoxville; and numerous extended family.

In keeping with his wishes, his remains will be cremated and no services will be held.  Donations to the American Cancer Society in his memory are requested in lieu of flowers.
