Cynthia Dawn Wilson

Cynthia Dawn Wilson passed from this life Monday evening, June 3, 2013, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. Dawn was born in Aberdeen, Maryland and was raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She moved to Jackson with her family in 1988. She worked several years at Goldsmith's Old Hickory mall and then in their corporate offices in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her most recent employment was with Glory Gymnastics where she was the office manager. Dawn not only loved the wonderful staff she worked with, but, every child that came through the door became "her baby."

She leaves her beloved and devoted husband, Brian Wilson of Jackson, TN; he loving mother, Valerie Phillips (Stepfather, Jim); her father, Gary Daugherty; and her brother, Chaz Daugherty. She also leaves a niece, Harley Daugherty and a nephew, Brooks Daugherty.

She was preceeded in death by her grandparents Joe and Dottie DeMarte of Humboldt, TN and LeRoy and Jean Daugherty of Memphis; two aunts, Vaness Wiechers and Connie Anthony.

The family will receive friends at George A. Smith & Sons North Chapel beginning at 6 p.m. with a rosary service to follow at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Jackson. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. at Memphis Memoruy Gardens located at 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd., Memphis, TN.
