Clevie Lee Gooch

Clevie Lee Gooch, 76, of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away on May 22, 2016. He died peacefully in his home, surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife Patsy, his children, Kathy Jones (Paul), Jennifer Gorga (John), Rhonda Elford (John), and Tony Gooch (Michelle), his sister, Francis Hart, and his brother, Paul Gooch. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Phil, Chris, Kyle Jones; Elizabeth, Alex Gorga; John, Olivia Elford, and 4 great grandchildren, Emilee, Levi, Abel, Marlee Jones. Clevie worked at Truex Chevrolet for many years before opening Gooch's Auto Repair. His honesty, skill, integrity and love of cars made him highly regarded in his work and community. His greatest loves were his wife Patsy, with whom he shared 59 years, and his family. For the many who knew him, his sweet smile, his love of people and telling them stories, and his kindness will be most remembered. His family will always remember camping trips in the Smokies, Halloween fun, his tender heart, and his great love of ice cream. Clevie will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be graveside at Highland Memorial Gardens at 10 am Tuesesday.
