Clara Smith Bell, age 64, of Jackson, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Clara was born December 12, 1958.
At the age of 8 months, she was shot tragically in the head and abdomen. Clara’s life was both a miracle and a blessing. She not only survived but also worked numerous jobs including Wal Mart where she worked for 20 years.
If one word could be used to describe her, it would be “indomitable”. Her wit and humor will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by the love of her life, Donald Ray Bell, her husband who loved her dearly and lovingly cared for her and her cat, Mr. Biscuit Bell. She is also survived by her two sisters Jennie Smith Pegg (Jerry) and Laura Smith Hendrix (Bill), 6 nieces and nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews, her Lambert family and cousins, and the multitude of friends and people who she always had laughing within minutes.
