Brian was born on August 31, 1958, in Dayton, OH to the late Richard Cullen and Barbara Blacklidge Bailey. Brian was second generation American born after his grandparents immigrated from Wales. Brian graduated Fairmont West High School in 1976. He was in the United States Army in 1983. In 2000, Brian married the love of his life, Angela. He was a fourth degree black belt in Taekwondo. Brian was adventurous. He loved to go camping, fishing, rock climbing, playing paintball, and flying planes. He also loved to collect exotic pets of which his most special buddy was his ring-tailed lemur, Rascal. He was also an avid gamer. He enjoyed video games and rpg's, of which he also GM'd. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and an exceptional friend.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Sue Bailey.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Angela Weir Bailey of Jackson; 2 daughters, Chandra Bailey of Milan, TN; Jami Long and her husband, Chad of Hohenwald, TN; 2 bonus daughters, Lena Hobbs and her husband Chad of Chesapeake, VA; Carrie Baxter and her husband Justin of Savannah, TN; bonus dad, William Howe of Centerville, OH; sister, Linda Bailey and wife Darla Rudolph of Frederick, MD; brother, Jeffery Bailey and wife Christy of Germantown, OH; 3 bonus sisters, S. Sandy Howe, SC, of Cincinnati OH; Kim Howard and her husband Todd of Springboro, OH; Therese Rife and her husband Richie of Springboro, OH; 4 bonus brothers, Steve Howe of Oakwood, OH; Paul Howe and his wife Teri of Middletown, OH; John Howe of Centerville, OH; Bill Howe and his wife Jane of Celebration, FL; 4 Nephews, Jonathan Bailey of Lebanon, TN; Andrew Weir, Ben Weir, and Timothy Weir, all of Jackson, TN; 3 nieces, Christable Bailey of Lebanon, TN; Heather Weir, and Jessica Weir both of Jackson, TN; 2 grandsons, Micah and Dylan; granddaughter, Ella; 2 bonus grandsons, David and Ote; 4 bonus granddaughters, Sadie Jo, Chloe, Julianna, Kyla; and 1 godson, Coda.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 11 am - 1 pm at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with a funeral service to follow at 1 pm.
