She was born on September 9, 1944, in Finger, Tennessee. Brenda was a dedicated and hardworking woman, serving as a secretary for Milan Arsenal until her well-deserved retirement. She was an active member of West Jackson Baptist Church.
Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Jack Law; her parents, Milton Strain, Sr., and Agnes Robison; her sister, Bobbye Jean McKelvy (R.T.); her brother, Don Robison (Lila); and her brother in law, John David Clayton.
She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving son, Chad Cates, and her sister, Frances Clayton, along with many extended family members and friends.
A service to celebrate Brenda’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, with Bro. Ron Hale officiating. The family will receive friends at 12:00 noon, one hour before the service. Following the celebration, Brenda will be entombed in the mausoleum at Ridgecrest Cemetery.
Brenda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
