Brad Langford

Charles Bradley Langford of Jackson TN was born on February 16th, 1957 to Ben Langford and Katy Jo (Smith) Langford. Brad left this world on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones.

Brad’s greatest pride in life was his grandchildren. He was front and center for every ball game, school program, birthday, and holiday. He had an uncanny way of making everyone he met feel like they were his best friend. He always uplifted the underdog and believed all you needed in this life was a lot of love and everything else would work out. Even when he didn’t have much to offer, he came to the rescue for anyone who needed it.

After a long career in industrial sales, he was blessed to live his life’s passion: fishing just like his father. If you were around him, he knew how to keep you laughing even if it was at his own expense. He believed in the American dream and taught us to fall going uphill. Brad knew God had him in his back pocket, even if he had to ask for forgiveness a little more than some.

Brad was preceded in death by his father Ben Langford, mother Katy Jo (Smith) Langford, his uncle A.E. Smith, & his cousin Susan Stack.

Brad is survived by his wife Nancy Langford; sons, Michael McKewen (Marissa), Daniel Langford (Lindsey), & Wesley Langford; daughter Laura Webb (Perry); grandsons Colton Lambert & Landon Langford; granddaughters Rhylyn Webb & Anniston Webb; brother Ben Langford (Geneice), Robin Griffith (Peggy), & Tommy Griffith; sisters Lynn Burgher (Tim) & Beth Rainey (Brad).

A memorial service for Brad will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 1:30 PM at George A. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2812 N Highland Ave, Jackson, Tennessee 38305.
