Bill was born on October 31, 1939 in Pinedale, MS, the son of the late Roland Fred and Alma Lorene Jenkins Tubbs. Bill retired from Tennessee Pump and Supply as a Purchasing Agent. He was a member of Toone Baptist Church where he served as a prior Deacon and Song Leader.
Bill was a man of integrity, character, and devotion to family. He enjoyed his great grandchildren, traveling with his wife, and anything outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Hoyt Tubbs, and his wife, Helen; and sister in law, Jo Tubbs.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Regina Jordan Tubbs; three children, Karen Hudgins (James) of Arlington, TN, Jennifer Thurmond (Wade) of Mary Esther, FL, and Kevin Tubbs (Melinda) of Decaturville, TN; grandchildren, Matthew Tubbs (Brittani), Phillip Fletcher (Erin), Amanda Heinrich, Jordan Hudgins-Tremblay (Kevin), Shelby Hillman (Evan), Logan Tubbs, Kyndal Thurmond, Caitlin Harrison, Katelyn Hudgins, Caleb Tubbs, Colton Tubbs, and Cameron Tubbs; great grandchildren, Baylee Heinrich, Rosie Tremblay, Oaklynn Heinrich, Jace Fletcher, Diana Tubbs, Milo Tremblay, Cole Tubbs, Jack Tremblay, and Jack Tubbs; and his brother, Fred Charles Tubbs.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Brian Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
