Beverly Jean Pullen

Beverly was born on May 21, 1928 in Urbana, IL, the daughter of the late Harry Evan and Dorothy Genevieve Woodard Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ira Pullen, Sr., and a daughter, Charlene Goss.

She is survived by her children, Nancy “Jeannie” Cox of Orlando, FL, Pat Rinks of Henderson, TN, Mary Ellen Derryberry of Jackson, TN, and Charles “Chuck” Pullen of St. Cloud, FL; nineteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 2155 Vann Drive, Jackson. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary of Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Savage and Bro. Thomas Derryberry officiating. Following the service, Mrs. Pullen will be taken into the care of Brewer and Sons Funeral Home for services and interment in Rose Hill Cemetery in Kissimmee, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to Bethel Baptist Church, 2155 Vann Drive, Jackson, TN 38305 or Stillwaters Christian Boarding School, 11901 Rd. 505, Union, MS, 39365
