Anna Joyce Smith

Joyce was born March 29,1934 in Cave City, Arkansas to Samuel and Rozella Phillips. Her husband of 62 years, Gene M. Smith, and her son, Kirk Smith, preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Kathy (Bill) Anderson, and Melissa (Andy) Hall and five grandchildren.

Throughout the years, Joyce offered her time in service to the Methodist church; she also developed a curtain business from her home and ran Smith House Antique, Flowers, and Gifts in Collierville with Gene. She enjoyed creative activities such as sewing, painting, and gardening as well as traveling with her husband. Most of all, she is remembered for the loving and welcoming home she made for her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M on Friday, November 15, at Smith Funeral Home, North Chapel, Jackson, TN, with the Reverends Paul Clayton and Sky McCracken officiating. Visitation is from 9-11:00 A.M. on Friday. Burial will follow at Neill Cemetery in Savannah, TN.
