Alan Robinson Phillips, age 91, of Jackson, Tennessee passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022.
Alan was born January 21, 1931 in Jackson to the late Jacob Creath Phillips and Dorothy Robinson Phillips. He was educated in the city schools and afterward went to work for the family business, The Bootery Shoe Store, in downtown Jackson. When the family business closed, he went to work for Citiplate, Inc, from which he retired. He enjoyed duck hunting and was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Phillips and Billy Phillips.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann Blackmon Phillips and much extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Ridgecrest Cemetery with Bro. Lonnie Sanders officiating.
