Mrs. Tommie McMinn Hodge, 96, of Clinton, MS naturally and peacefully went to be with our Lord on the morning of February 1, 2017. Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
She lived a long, happy life and loved her family and friends very much. In her 96 years, she suffered many losses including her husband, Mack Hodge Jr.; parents, Robert and Cora McMinn; brother, Quinton McMinn; three younger brothers who passed away in childhood; sister, Maurice Pellum; numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, a daughter-in-law, Linda Hodge James; and many nieces, nephews and friends with whom she longed to be reunited with.
She left behind her only son, Wendell Hodge and wife Penny; grandson, John Hodge; granddaughter, Suzanne Miller; grandson, William Hodge; and four precious great grandchildren, Zach, Jacob, Micah, and Ava.
