Thomas Gerald Boyd

Thomas “Gerald” Boyd passed away on August 16,2012 due to a massive heart attack at Biloxi Regional Hospital in Biloxi ,MS. He was born July 4, 1947. He owned and operated Gerald’s Sandwich Shop in Monticello, MS from 1990-2000. He was a member of Monticello United Pentecostal Church.

Gerald was preceded in death by his father Tommy Boyd, former wife Dianne Boyd, son Tony Watson, great granddaughter Angel Smith, and son-n-law Tommy Kirkland.

Survivors include his mother Johnnie Bell Boyd, of Jayess, MS, wife Sandra Boyd of Gulfport, MS, Two Sons, Mr. & Mrs. Lane Watson and Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Watson of Clayton, LA. One daughter Michelle Kirkland of Monticello , MS. Three brothers Mr. & Mrs. Willie Boyd of Jayess, MS, Mr. & Mrs. Ray Boyd of Jackson, MS, Mr. & Mrs. W C Boyd of Pass Christian, MS. Four sisters Mr. & Mrs. Lucille Davis of Mozelle, MS. Mr. & Mrs. Peggy Mains of Moss Point, MS. Mr. & Mrs. Doris Carney of Biloxi , MS. And Pat Sistrunk of Byram, MS. 10 Grandchildren Angela & Josh Smith, Glenn Parkman, Bailey Watson all of Monticello, MS. Craig and Cody Watson of Petal, MS . Lane Watson, Cody, Dillon and Vallerie Seals, Katlyn Goodwin all of Clayton , LA. Four Great Grandchildren Dianne, Lucy, Conner Smith and Wesley Watson all of Monticello , MS. A host of nieces and nephews. And his friends and family from the Sandwich Shop , Fay Kimble and Family.

Wright and Fergerson out of Jackson , MS was in charge of the arrangements. Services were held Monday August 20,2012 at Monticello United Pentecostal Church.
