Steven R Johnson

Steven “Steve” Ralph Johnson, 59, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 to 10 am. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10 am with interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mr. Johnson was born on April 7, 1956 in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated from Wingfield High School in 1974. He served in the United States Coast Guard from 1975 to 1982. He owned American Mobility Systems where he served MS veterans for many years. He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.

Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his father, Vernol Ralph Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Angela Kelly Johnson; mother, Anna J. Moak of Madison, MS; sons, Matthew Johnson of Clinton, MS, Nicholas Johnson of Clinton, MS, Benjamin Johnson (Mary Frances) of Madison, MS, Joseph Johnson of Clinton, MS; daughter, Kathleen Johnson Daniels (William) of Charleston, SC; sister, Peggy J. Brown of Madison, MS; grandchildren, Sara Ann and Kelly Nicole Johnson.
