I went to school with Sherry & I also lived in Garden Park, where we grew up. She was such a delightful sole ! I got the chance to tell her at our 50th class reunion when she walked up to me that I would have recognized her anywhere because of her beautiful smile. I remember her as always having the sweetest & most genuine smile on her face. Just breaks my heart. Prayers for all the family .

Johnny ( George n  Georgette  ) Sherry are great friends I was devastated when  Jan  called and told me that. Johnny and Sherry had been in a car crash and Sherry didn’t make it Sherry was the most caring person that  I have ever known I pray for Johnny AkA. George and Sherry’s family may God give y’all comfort in the days to come I know Sherry will be greatly missed

Sherry was a dear high school friend who I had not seen in years.  I had the privilege of visiting and sitting at the table with her and Johnny at our 50th class reunion in July.  She was much loved by all and I am saddened to hear of her death.  My thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this time. My heart breaks for Johnny and Mike and the entire family! I met Sherry back in the ‘70’s when we worked @Blue Cross together! I recently saw her and Johnny @Lakewood…..she is still that caring, loving person that I had the privilege of knowing! God Bless her loved ones! Rest In Peace my friend❤️🙏🏻

Our family has had a heaven heart ever since we heard bout Johnny and Sherry. It saddens me our family has lost another loved one and we never had chance to say goodbye. Johnny. It was terrible hearing about the accident.  I told my brother, Johnny Shorter and he was really upset.  He said Sherry was the biggest sweet heart he had known.  She helped with Sara at the campground . fixing her breakfast . It was really appreciated.  He was really in shock to hear the news.  I sent him all the pictures and articles from facebook. Sara called me to get me to tell Johnny when he called me wanting news.  I hope you get healed quickly.  I know after all your years together, you will miss the wonderful lady.  Take good care of yourself.

I worked with Sherry in the late 70's and she was a genuine sweetheart. I have thought of her many times during the years and had no idea she lived so close to me. Rest in peace, sweet Sherry, until we meet again 

Sherry and I have been friends since grade school and our mothers worked together for many years at Women’s Hospital.  Sherry was always the sweetest person, kind to everyone.  I haven’t seen her for many years - we sat down next to each other in a Vicksburg Casino and said at the same time “I know you”.  Visited and played slots for several hours. Prayers and deepest sympathy to Johnny and your family.

My heart is just broken.  Even though I have not seen Sherry in years, I know how special she was to everyone who met her.  Johnny our prayers are with you.  Mary Lynne & David Underwood

We were so saddened to hear about Mrs. Sherry’s passing. For the past 10 years the Arrington would come to Coal Bluff for their weekend visits and Mrs. Sherry would stop by. Always bringing goodies and love when she arrived. Her and her husbands friendship has and always will be cherish. Much love to Mr. Johnny during this loss.
