Sarah Elizabeth Massey Webb was born on March 22, 1927 to Kathleen and Drewey Silas Massey. She graduated in the class of 1945 from Central High School in Jackson, MS. She was married to the love of her life, Horace Webb, for 64 years.
Sarah found strength in her relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and later First Baptist Church of Clinton. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star and was retired from Mississippi Valley Gas.
Sarah had a joyful spirit and a love for life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and spent many hours creating beauty through crafts.
Sarah was welcomed in to the Kingdom of Heaven on August 29, 2022. She is survived by her four children, Rodney (Krimi), Maureen (Willard), Harvey (Ann), and Kathleen (Sandy). She is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings.
The visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson, MS. Visitation will begin at 1:30 PM and the funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
