Rosie Lee McElroy, 93, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Friday, September 20 at Lakewood South Funeral Home, 430 McCluer Rd, Jackson, MS. A graveside service will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park.

Ms. McElroy was born on July 29, 1926 in Hollandale, MS. She was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Green and Estelle Loraine Fowler Odom, and 8 siblings.

Ms. McElroy is survived by her children, Judy Tollison, Danny Ray McElroy, Sr. (Caren), Nolan McElroy, and Rita Tompkins; siblings, Donald Ray Odom, Edward Odom (Mary Jean), and Betty Sue Davis (Percy); 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
