Bob, disciple for Jesus Christ, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, United States Navy veteran, and retired banker passed away.
Bob was born August 10, 1935 in Jackson, Mississippi to Hale Singletary and Alma May Singletary. He was a graduate of Central High School in Jackson, MS and a proud member of the Central High School Band (trumpet). He graduated from Mississippi College in 1958 with a BS degree and LSU's Graduate School for Banking in 1968. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1962. He was a long-time member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton Mississippi before moving to Pinelake Church in Brandon Mississippi. He gave his heart and soul to Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his loving wife Linda, wonderful son Robert "Ken" Singletary, wonderful daughter Angela Renee Mitchell, son-in-law Robert Mitchell, daughter-in-law Kem B. Singletary, three grandsons, Garrett Mitchell, Hayden Mitchell, Austin Mitchell, two granddaughters, Theresa Anne Singletary, Natalie McDuff, and one great-grandson Miles Kenneth Mitchell.
Bob wanted his family to close his obituary with this message: "Dear God, thank you for blessing me with such a wonderful family. My prayer is to see all of them in heaven".
