Patricia Mae Bradley, affectionatley known as Pat, age 83, of Clinton, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2021, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Pat was born March 14, 1937, in Laurel, Maryland, to the late Franklin Eugene Baker and Edith Mae Shipley Baker. Prior to being diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Pat loved to read and spent much of her time with a new book in her hand. She had a large cookbook collection and loved trying new recipes. She also enjoyed crocheting and other needlepoint crafts. She loved her family tremendously and enjoyed special occassions when family would come to visit. Pat was a member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church where she was actively involved in the Legacy of Faith senior adult ministry and the Legacy of Faith choir prior to becoming a resident at Brookdale Assisted Living in 2018. Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eldon Marcellus Bradley; son, Reuben Frank Bradley; brothers Franklin Baker, Jr.; Reese Baker; twin brother John Harold Baker (Doris Baker); Bryan Baker; Alan Baker; sisters Betty Canova; and Irene Watson.
Pat is survived by sisters Priscilla Pilkerton (Aubrey); Rosemary Chinn; and Ruth Ann Baker; daughter, Marcella Bolinger and son-in-law Vaughn Bolinger; son, Edward Bradley and daughter-in-law Tanya Bradley; son, Corwin Bradley and daughter-in-law Suzanne Bradley; and daughter-in-law, Irene Evans; grandchildren Brooke Hanna; Meghan Howell (Bill Howell); Nicholas Bradley; Madison Bradley; Sara Bradley; and Tammy Bradley; great grandchildren, Shelbie Howell; Shaylie Howell; Shiloh Howell; Bradley Hanna; Kanon Hanna; and Kylar Hanna; and numerous brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
For the past two years, Pat has been cared for by many caring staff at Brookdale Assistive Living, who loved her like family. The family expresses our gratitude and appreciation for all of the many caregivers who made Brookdale her home for the past two years. Visitation will be held at Morrison Heights Baptist Church from 10:00 - 11:00 on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, with the service beginning at 11:00. Graveside service will be held at the Pavillion at Lakewood Cemetary. Services officiated by Dr. Greg Belser, Senior Paster, and Dr. Charles Scrivner, Minister of Senior Adults.
