Ola Mae Dawson

Mrs. Ola Mae Dawson passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Lakewood Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Dawson is preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Dawson; daughter, Debra Lynn Dawson; and brother, Robert Waggoner.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy D. Vernon and Pamela J. Watson (William); son, John A Dawson (Kimberli); brother, Arlo Waggoner; sisters, Frankey Commer, Ruth Burns, Grace Bradley; grandchildren, Melissa Kornberger, Kelli Dawson, David Fairley, John Dawson, Timothy Fairley, Kai Dawson, Korey Dawson, Marley McCarty; and 8 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
