Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Paul A. Somers; 1 son: Wes Somers; 1 daughter: Sondra Feduccia; 6 grandchildren: Nathan, Daniel, Maggie, Trey, Tim, and Tony; 4 great-grandchildren: Landon, Connor, Tristan and Lilly; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Somers was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Laura Pierce; and her brother, Sam Pierce.

Mrs. Somers was a retired Human Resource Professional.

The family would like to express deepest gratitude to Martin and Betty Bounds for their love and support during this difficult time.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM on November 7, 2015 at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson, MS. A graveside service will follow at 11 AM at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS. The family requests that all friends and family dress casual for Mrs. Somers’ services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mary Somers’ name to: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
