Mary Margaret Shows

She was survived by her sister, Joyce Smith (Sidney) and her brother, Gilbert Shows (Sherry). She was survived by several nieces and nephews, Brian Smith (Kimberly), Ashley Smith, Eric Shows, Amanda Shows (Brent) and Craig Shows. She was born to Beryl Jack Shows and PK Shows on January 3, 1953. She became a Christian at a young age and was baptized at Elraine Baptist Church in Jackson, MS.

Mary graduated from Central High School in Jackson. She worked at Graduate Supply House for over 30 years making caps and gowns, and was exceptional at her job. All the while she was a loving sister, aunt, daughter and friend. She was definitely a special person. She took care of her parents and her aunt until they passed away.

Mary was dedicated to her relationship with the Lord and enjoyed reading her Bible. The Lord provided her with great strength as she battled breast cancer, going through chemo therapy and radiation treatments for over a year. She was an inspiration to all of her family in faithfulness and love. She will be dearly missed.
