Martha J Harvey, 89, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021. Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 1300 W Capitol St, Jackson, MS on Wednesday, May 19 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with the funeral service to follow.
Mrs. Harvey was born in Columbia, MS on June 17, 1931 to the late Jabus Berry and Annie Edna Jennings. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was an animal lover and enjoyed being with her family and doing things for them.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Harvey; parents; son, David R. Harvey; sisters, Anne Slade and Betty Carpenter.
Mrs. Harvey is survived by her granddaughters, Melissa Harvey and Alice Schonewitz; great granddaughter, Lily Harvey; daughter-in-law, Gloria Harvey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice nurses, Molly, Connie and Taris for the compassionate care they gave Mrs. Harvey.
