Marion Franklin Ruff

Marion Franklin Ruff went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday morning January 9th at 9:45 am. Marion was born on November 14, 1933 in Sky Lake Bend, MS to Manuel and Bertha Ruff. He attended Byram School and graduated from Forest High School.

After graduation, he went to work for Mississippi Power and Light Company and Entergy for 42 years and 4 months. He was married to Earline Etheridge for 42 years.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Alan Ruff; daughter, Teresa Lynn Bedells; step daughter, Sherri Dianne Blount and parents,Manuel and Bertha Ruff. He was the last of nine brothers and sisters.

His loves were his family, coon and deer hunting and fishing. He was a member of many hunting clubs over the years.

He leaves behind his wife, Earline; three sons, Herbert (Jo Ann), Dennis and Andy and his step son, Monty Blount. He also leaves behind 17 grandkids and 37 great grandkids.

Our family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers from Sta-Home and Home Instead for the Care and Compassion they provided Marion during this trying time. They were God Sends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 10am to 12 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 12 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home.
