Maria Teresa Solis Roa Taylor, 95, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Hospice Ministries. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Lakewood Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Teresa was born on September 11, 1921 in San Julian, El Salvador. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was an exemplary mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all. She was a very giving person who shared love for everyone.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Alberto Roa and Calvin Taylor; parents, Jose Patricio Solis and Josefa Diaz de Solis; sister, Maria Del Carmen Solis Diaz; brother, Pedro Tomas Solis Diaz.
She is survived by her daughters, Maria Roa Taylor (Perry Arthur Taylor) and Marta Patricia Roa de Funes (Guillermo Antonio Funes Villalta); 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; special niece, Regina Solis de Mendoza; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
