Margaret Glorioso Crawley

She was a graduate of Central High School in Jackson MS in 1952.

She started at age 17 and dedicated almost 50 years to her job at Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company. She loved her career and was a very family oriented person and a devout Catholic. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Jackson. She kept God in everything she did. She knew how to put a smile on your face when you needed it the most. She had one child whom she loved very much. She was saddened of her passing in 2017.

She spent many years raising her granddaughter, Brittany. They adored each other and did everything together.

Margaret liked reading the newspaper, walking, and enjoyed eating out.

She was preceded in death by her mother Josephine Glorioso, her father Charles Glorioso, daughter Sharon Crawley, her sister Marie Hill, her 2 brothers, Sammy Glorioso and Charles Glorioso.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Brittany Lee and her husband Travis Lee and great grandchildren: Josie Crawley, Katie Lee, Travis Lee Jr, and Caden Lee

Nieces and nephews: Edgar Hill, Teresa Gill, Tip Hill, Michael Glorioso, Charlotte McCary, Don Hill, and Charlie Glorioso.

A celebration of life for Margaret will be held Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209.
