Born February 1946 in Alexandria, Julie Dianne Woodall would grow up to become the consummate southern woman. Born into a military family to Joseph Woodall and Julie Lipsey, she traveled the world including stops in Germany and Newfoundland before settling into a quiet life in Louisiana. A fun loving child, she soon would soon become the winner of many local pageants, including the prestigious title of Miss Fire Prevention. She had personality, beauty, and hair, that would not quit.
That personality and beauty carried over into her teen years where she excelled in academics while earning the respect and admiration of her peers. A friendship with Dianne was a life-long bond, not broken by time or distance. Becoming a young mother was one of her proudest moments, she continued to build her life in Mississippi, ultimately becoming the matriarch of a continuously growing multi-generational family. A welcoming woman, family and friends became the central focus of her life. Love and laughter surrounded her, many learned from her, shared her happiness, and found solace in her company.
Following her passing on October 24th, 2024, her exuberant spirit lives on in the grieving family she has left behind, including daughters Donna, and Jeannie, son Jason, grandchildren Nicole, Blake, Devin, Raquel, Man, Lauren, Beckett, Sydney and Shelby as well as great-grandchildren Gage, Michael, McKayla, Hayden, and Levi. She was pre-deceased by her son Darin.
