Jane Kelly

Jane Kelly, 64, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Kelly was born on November 28, 1950 to the late, Houston and Audrey Frith White. She attended high school at Morton Attendance Center and received a business degree from East Central Junior College.She retired from Bell South with over 32 years of service. Mrs. Kelly was a member of Bell South Pioneers and MS Classic Cruisers. She loved spending time in her garden and was a remarkable dancer. Mrs. Kelly attended McLaurin Heights Baptist Church in Pearl, MS.She enjoyed riding up river and camping with the North Pearl River Campers. Above all, she will be remembered by her family and friends as an excellent spouse, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, John E. Hughes, Jr. and John E. Hughes,II; her parents, and brother-in-law, Bob Theriot.

Mrs. Kelly is survived by her husband, Jeffrey (Gator) Kelly of Brandon; daughter, Holly S. Evans of Byram; brother, David White (Nancy); sisters, Ruth Ruffin (Pete), Clara Theriot, Bernice Harville, Florice Cole, Minnie Elkins; grandchildren, Mitch Borders, Jackson Evans, Jordan Evans, and Audrey Evans all of Byram.
