Emmett R. Ratliff passed away on October 30, 2023 at the age of 98. He was the beloved husband of Madeline Ratliff nee Saxon of Saint Peters, Missouri; He is survived by his son, Kevin Richard (Elizabeth) Ratliff of Tampa, FL; daughter, Gwen (Kevin) Hartley of St. Peters, MO; four grandchildren, Samantha, Andrew, Alexander, Alexis; He is preceded in death by his father, Emmett Rivers Ratliff, mother, Pearl Ratliff nee Magee, wife, Madeline Ratliff.
Emmett was born March 14,1925 in McComb, Mississippi to the late Emmett and Pearl Ratliff. Emmett was a member of First United Methodist Church and served four years in the United States Army during World War II. He enjoyed flying and building model airplanes, reading, traveling and worked for NASA on the space shuttles. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend to all, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
