He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy Warrington and husband Larry of Bentonia, Ms.; special brother-in-law, Dennis McCool of Bentonia. Also, his father and mother-in-law Luke and Doris Andries of Jackson, Ms.; 3 brothers-in-law, Jim of Byram, Ms. John of Jackson, Ms and Mike Andries of Tx. His grandparents, Hugh and Vera Pierce French of Jackson, Ms.
He attended Central High School class of 1961. He built houses with his uncle H. B. (Red) French Jr. of Jackson, Ms. for several years. Then worked for his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Andries for many years until they retired and sold the business to Nordan Smith in 1992. He worked for them in Hattiesburg, Ms. until he retired in 2007.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Pate (Steve) and Tina Clark of Richland, Ms., grandchildren, Janie Adams (Jakob) of Florence, Ms., Lee Boyer of Fl., Zoey and Mason Clark of Brandon, Ms.; great grands, Jolee Boyer of Pearl, Ms., Brooklyn, Jillian and Madden Adams and Greyson Pickell all of Florence, Ms. and Jolee Boyer of Pearl, Ms.; sister, Paula McCool of Florence, Ms.; sisters-in-law, Linda Walshock of Jackson and Lucy Phillips of Columbus, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023 at 1:00 pm and the funeral service to follow at 2:30 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson, Ms.
