Dave Travis Massey, 55, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019. Funeral services will be held at Lakewood South Funeral Home on Friday, April 5 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park.
Dave was born on October 15, 1963 in Jackson, MS and graduated from Wingfield High School. He was a proud member of the marching band and also played in a Christian rock band at Oak Forest Baptist Church. He also owned Dave’s Bike Shop and worked for NAPA Auto Parts for over 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ray Massey.
Dave is survived by his mother, Christy Martin; siblings, Dwayne Massey and Ladona Anderson (Lee Roy); nephew, Daniel Anderson; nieces, Rachel Anderson and Chrissie Clark; great niece, Samantha Clark; best friends, canine companion, Boss and his feathered friend, Joey.
