Ms. Corrine Johnson, 91, passed away Monday July 28, 2014 at the Nichols Center in Madison. Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Ms. Johnson was born on December 23, 1922 in Tupelo, MS. She was a member of First Baptist Jackson, but was best known for her many years of good and faithful service at Van Winkle Baptist.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Randall Johnson; son, Larry K. Johnson; and siblings, Faye, Doris, Lora, Jack, and Wilbur.
Ms. Johnson is survived by her son Randy Johnson and niece Nancy Sullivan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mississippi Alzheimer’s Foundation.
