Claudia “Jean” Chappell, 74, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her home in Byram. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 18 at Lakewood South Memorial Park.

Jean was born on February 13, 1948 in Madison Co., MS.

She is preceded in death by her children, Curtis M Stanford and Alisa Stanford-Lott; parents, Claude P and Myrtle Henderson Brewer; granddaughter, Chassidy Amanda Stanford; sisters, Lucille Mason, Charlene Creel, and Kay Bryant; and 3 half-sisters.

Jean is survived by her brother, Claude P. Brewer, Jr., grandchildren, Skyler Alexander Stanford, Haley Jeanne Stanford, and Dawn Campbell; and 6 great grandchildren.
