Allen was born in Jackson on November 14, 1947 to the late Charles Alexander and Ines Nunley. Allen enjoyed being involved in the Hot Rod Car Community in Jackson, but his biggest passion was serving his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Flag Chapel Baptist Church for 25 years and served with the Rock of Ages Prison ministry.
He is survived by his son, Patrick Allen Nunley of Carthage; sister, Margaret Collins of Canton; two grandchildren, Andrew Nunley and Lanna Nunley; niece, Janice McCullough; and grandnephew, Christian McCullough.
A visitation for Charles will be held Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209. A visitation will occur Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209.
Charles will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memorial Park, 6000 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209.
