Charles Dale Dowdle, 84, of Florence, MS passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. He was born on September 28, 1931 to the late Otho Caseral and Edyth Panama Cooper Dowdle in Melbourne, Arkansas. Visitation for Charles will be held on Saturday, November 28 at Lakewood Funeral Home from 12-2 pm with a funeral service at 2 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ronal Dowdle; sisters, Sharon Parker and Marion Dowdle.
Charles is survived by his wife, Vilda Barton Dowdle; his sons, Randy (Kay) Dowdle, Wally (Vivian) Dowdle, Jon (Gail) Dowdle; his daughters, Lorri (Sergio) Lugo and Lisa (Stan) Saucier; his brother, Donal (Sondra) Dowdle; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation.
